For the Media

The University of Pennsylvania will mark the 270th Commencement at Franklin Field on the morning of Monday, May 18 at 10 a.m.  Commencement speaker and Honorary Degree Recipients will be announced in the spring.

Media Credentials

All media interested in covering Penn’s Commencement activities must be credentialed in advance. All requests should be made to Charlotte Maiden at maidenc@upenn.edu no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, May 15. 

Once credentialed, media (photographers, videographers, and reporters) will receive specific logistical information on or before Commencement. Please note, no field access is permitted; all media will report from media pool.
